Senior FullStack Engineer
Weβre looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Astrix Security. At Astrix, we build cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions with a strong culture of ownership. We move fast, care deeply about quality, and expect engineers to use modern AI development tools (and structured AI workflows) to accelerate delivery - while keeping our code secure, maintainable, and reliable.
About this role
- Own high-impact features end-to-end, from concept and design to production and iteration.
- Build across the stack - intuitive front-end experiences and robust backend services.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate complex requirements into simple, user-friendly workflows.
- Help scale the platform with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools effectively (for example: Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable) to speed up implementation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation - while validating outputs with strong engineering judgment.
- Work with AI integrations and workflows such as MCPs to connect coding agents to internal tools and context safely and productively.
- Create and maintain reusable βAI leverageβ assets for the team: prompts, rules, commands, skills, and well-structured Markdown docs that make development faster and more consistent.
- Improve engineering standards and team velocity through clean architecture, testing, observability, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full stack experience (or equivalent impact), with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and SQL.
- Proven ability to take full ownership of projects - planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-release improvements.
- Strong front-end fundamentals: component-based architecture, state management, responsive design, and performance.
- Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, scalability, and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled developer tooling and workflows, including tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Lovable, plus familiarity with using MCPs to bring relevant context into development safely.
- Ability to build structured, repeatable workflows using artifacts like rules, commands, skills, and MD files - and to teach others how to use them.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bonus: AWS experience (Lambda, S3, EC2) and experience designing scalable, secure cloud services.
